In construction and engineering projects the nature and type of defects can vary dramatically. Extreme significant defects may occur long after the original work has been completed and require extensive remedial works to fix. This workshop will provide an overview of defective construction works and highlight the practical issues in the legal context. With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Harrison transitioned into a successful career as a barrister, specializing in construction-related litigation, arbitration, and mediation. In addition to his expertise in these areas, Harrison adeptly handles commercial contractual disputes and a wide array of general legal matters. His legal acumen extends to criminal law, where he serves as counsel on fiat and defense counsel, demonstrating his comprehensive legal capabilities.

Harrison is a seasoned speaker who has been co-operating with local universities (HKU, PolyU, CityU SCOPE, etc.) in recent years and teaching courses of various legal topics. Since 2012, there are more than 7,000 participants who joined the courses, who are management staffs, government officials and professionals from different disciplines.
